Answers
- What is a Patio Home?
An Ovation patio home, is a beautiful, one level home with spacious convenient living. Our patio homes are built with NO STAIRS, inside or out and can be customized for varying mobility needs.
- What is an HOA community?
Our subdivisions all have Homeowners Associations (HOAs) which helps to ensure the neighborhood maintains a certain curb appeal. Once you close on your home, you are a member of the HOA. Fees and services vary per subdivision. Generally, services include snow removal of sidewalks and driveways as well as front yard maintenance including mowing, weeding, fertilizing and winterization.

You can build a new home that is customized to your needs. You can live in your own home and not have to worry about stairs, yard maintenance or snow removal. You can have your kitchen , bedrooms, laundry and bathrooms all on one level. http://ovationhomes.blogspot.com/

- How is a reverse mortgage different from a home equity loan?
Both a reverse mortgage and a home equity loan use the equity you have in your home to generate cash. However, with a home equity loan, you need to make monthly payments on the principal and interest. With a reverse mortgage, you don't need to make monthly mortgage payment for as long as you stay in the home. The loan is repaid only after you permanently leave the home.
- What are the basic requirements for a reverse mortgage?
To qualify for a reverse mortgage, you must be age 62 or older and own your home (houses and condos qualify; those with existing mortgages may also qualify). Your home must be your principal residence and meet U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) minimum property standards.
